Suburb News is Hampstead Garden Suburb’s very own free newspaper produced by volunteers of the HGS Residents Association. Many local experts and groups write the articles giving a very relevant perspective on news, issues and events in the area. The newspaper is then distributed by our volunteers free of charge to over 5,000 local households each quarter (March, June, September and December). It has been distributed continuously for nearly 40 years and has continued to evolve and stay relevant and topical. If you are interested in advertising in Suburb News, prices and details are shown HERE.
The Style Guide (go HERE) is intended to be a helpful guide for anyone wishing to submit an article/piece to Suburb News. It will also, we hope, alleviate much of the editing and proofreading required by the Suburb News team - who are all volunteers - and keep our local paper looking stylish and professional, which the team works very hard to achieve.
